I am in the market for Canon 1.4 extender for my 70-200, but I would like to see some photos first. If anybody has this combination can you please post some photos. Thanks.

Posting a photo wouldn't tell much as the resulting images of the combo varies with the lighting...
Beside who would post a 'bad' picture? :-)

I find this combo great, very little degradation at all. This lens is very sharpand you don't lose auto focus, you lose one stop so it becomes a F5.6 as opposed to an F4heres a few shots with the 1X4 TC on the lens. All are hand held. The 1X4 is great value for money. i will be keeping it for when i ever can afford an L prime as they are supposed to be even better on them. i hope this helps.

this was a test shot at the full 280 zoom

this one not so great, i was too far off and the harsh light did not help

handheld shot of the moon at a hight shutter speed and ISO 650

These are the kind of shots i got the TC for.

yes, its really good with the 70-200 F4 L. I hope to be able to afford an EF 400 F5.6 L prime lenssometime and it will go on that as well

-> It will go on the 400L but it won't AF on a 30D (just like a 2xTC on an f/4), so just beware...
