Nope, sorry to saynot even long enough for shooting the moon let alone stars or similar (well the sun is a star but don't point a telephoto straight at that and expect your ccd to still be working LOL).

Have a look at the work of Romy Ocon http://www.pbase.com/liquidstone/moon_shotshe is often using 10x + the focal length you are thinking of.

Using a telescope with an adaptor is probably the simplest/cheapest option but I'm no expert on that.

Look for "digiscoping" for that option.
