what's the difference between:
Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG HSM Macro
Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX II DG HSM Macro.
The II is higher priced. Does anybody what that II stands for?
thanks

II is the newest avtar of the 70-200 f2.8 Macro. From what i read its similar to 70-200 but tweaked up in performance, especially at 200mm and tghe macro zone..

Thanks for your help. I guess for the extra 20/30 dollars it may be worth it?

I would suggest seaching for reviews - there are a number of sites that review lenses. Fred Miranda has a lot of lens reviews, but I don't know if they have reviewed the newer Sigma or not.
