Depending on how much change is jingling in your pocket.

Check out the 50mm f1.8 lens ( i believe the mark ll is better than mark l)

The Japanese version is going used on ebay fro under 200 bucks

The Taiwanese or 'other' versions go for 100 bucks or under.

However i dont own either so please use my advice with caution.

I do however plan to buy one.

I have used the 50mm on my canon film camera and though a lens from the 1980 it is tack sharp and bloody good.

Good Luck
