I just upgraded from a 20D to a 1D Mark II. My wide angle for the 20D was the 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5. Now thatI have the MK II I can't use the 10-22mm anymore I need a wide angle lens! Is there anything out there that comes close to 10mm on the wide end , 16mm counting the 1.6 cropon the 20D,for the MK II?

BTW I'll be using it forcityscapes,vacation,family/friend gatherings...the usual :?

Thanks guys!
Chris

Sigma makes a 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 EX DG HSM that you may want to look into.

On a sensor with a 1.3x multiplier, that should give you roughly the same angle of view you'd have using a 16-31mm lens on a 35mm camera.

I have the 12-24 for my 5D and 1D mkIII and it's OK, I'm not sure if I have the best copy or not but it does an acceptable job at landscapes. I'm not sure about for anything else as I've not used it too much.
