I am very new to this game so I apologize for the dumb question. I have a 40D and just bought a 70-300 f4.5/5.6 IS (canon) lens for it. I have read that the lens is not compatable with the canon extenders but I have a question anyway. Some canon lenses will still work with the extenders but won't autofocus. Is this the case here or is the lens truely incompatable?
