Default Can any one help canon EF lens question

hi,
I have seen this lens advertised and was wondeing if it would fit the EOS (EF) type hope this discription is enough but if not maybe you could tell me what to look for to distinquish ef and none ef

Yes..it should work fine for you. It works fine on my Canon EOS 10D.

The best way I know to distinguish EF from not EF lenses is that they are also called EOS lenses. When Canon switched to the EF lens mount, they also renamed their system EOS.

I believe the older lens mount was called FD. FD and EF are not compatable.
