I have access to2 older 35MM lenses from a Canon AE-1.

The owner thinks they are about 20 years old.

Any idea if these will fit on my Canon SX DSLR?..

or do I need to see what make/model number they are???

If I am not mistaken, the AE-1 uses a FD mount. The XS uses an EF or EF-S mount. You would need to use an adapter.

I can't offer any further opinions on whether it's worth the trouble, having never done it myself.

Thanks....

FD Mount???? what's that?

Is that what the adaptor will help with?

and...lastly, adaptor pricing? would it be worth it, getting 2 lens real cheap. Quality of pics using the older AE1 lens?
