Default Canon EF-S 10-22mm F3.5-4.5 USM

Any thoughts or opinions on this Canon Lens. I have an opprotunity to purchase at a very good price, and would like to have some feedback from the forum. The plan for use is big landscapes and large structures (buildings, bridges, skylines) Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

I can't help myself, I have to post a photo as well. It has nothing to do with the request for advice.

Cheers

Been using this lens since last Christmas, it was a gift and wasn't sure if I would like the lens. After taking the lens, 40D and the wife (someone has to carry the camera bag) to the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA it quickly became my favorite lens. It has great IQ and colors with fast focusing along with a nice focal range.

Thanks guys. Since I posted this, I have read several reviews of this lens, all good, some very good reviews. So based on your comments and the reviews I have purchased the lens and will give it a work out this weekend.
