From reputable dealers, the lowest price right now is about $255. My advice is to buy from B&H. Canon has a deal going to get $200 back when bought with an XTi right now, but for just the lens itself, $255 is the going rate. B&H is my recommendation. I see it for as low as $240 out there but for $15 I wouldn't risk buying from a less reputable place.

No cheaper prices than back in December from a reputable dealer. I wouldn't expect the price to drop on the lens. What price point are you hoping to get it at?

Lenses really do not drop to much in price compare to cameras. Try looking at adorama's refrebs that they get from canon. It can save you a couple of bucks.
