That's nice. That does not include the required T-Mount adapter. But it's still nice.

BTW, the Pro-Optic, Samyang, Vivitar and Bower are all the same lens, made by Samyang, I beleive.

That was what I was thinking about when I saw it. At the end of PMA I was going to order the epl-1, oly 35mm macro and panny adapter and I was going to throw this into the mix and have them make up a package deal for me to save some money.

Figure the wife gets a great travel camera with a good macro lens. I get something new to play around with. Something that takes me out of my comfort zone of cityscape, sea/landscape and people, so I think out of the box for a bit.

I've both a manual focus Nikkor mirror and the Sony 500 autofocus:

http://forums.steves-digicams.com/ni...-8-reflex.html

... and here for size comparison between the 500mm mirror and my 500mm tele (the Bigma 50-500 is in between):
-> As you can guess a normal 500mm is not very practical for traveling (especially overseas)... The 500mm mirror is about the size of a 24-70 f/2.8 but much lighter!

Can I presume the birds of India were taken with the mirror lens? Great shots by the way.

Correct:
#1 and #3 were with the A900/500AF mirror
#2 was captured with the D300/Bigma 50-500

Couldn't fit the 1DMrkII/EF-500 L in the luggage for that trip...

I completely understand about packing huge lenses. That is why I never picked up the ef 100-400mm. My biggest lens is the ef 70-300mm IS.

Next toy will be the epl-1 for my wifes travel setup. Super small and light with way more ability then a bridge and p&s.
