Default Need lens under the budget of US$600-US$700

I have just bought a body of Canon 7D

Now I have US$600-US$700 for LENS. MY subject of photography is PORTRAITS, indoor/outdoor fashion shoots, wedding shoots.

So please suggest me one lens.

Thanks

I would say the ef 24-70 f2.8L for you are shooting indoors. But your budget for a fast zoom with 2.8. If you do not need a wide angle, look at the tamron 28-75 2.8. Or the sigma 24-70. But not sure if these lenses will AF fast enough though for a fashion shoot.

For wedding shoots, you will occasionally need wider angles for, for instance, photos at tables in crowded reception halls. I suggest you get the Canon 15-85 USM IS.

You should also get a good flash.

Are tamron 28-75 2.8. and the sigma 24-70 are perfect for Portraits?

Either would do portraits well, but they're not particularly fast to focus, so they may not do well for the fashion stuff.
