Default Canon T2i...Which lens?

Hello all...I have decided on the Canon T2i camera and now am trying to figure out which lens (lenses) to purchase with it. I am trying to figure out if I want the 18-55mm IS kit or the 18-135mm IS. I then will be getting the 70-300mm IS lens seperately (the canon one) as I do a lot with wildlife. I have read a lot about the longer zoom lenses. and distortion...will I experience this with the 18-135? Or the 70-300 lens for that matter? I will be getting both in the Canon USM IS. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Also just found the kit containing the 17-85mm IS...How is this one? Thanks again. Just want to purchase the right kit and get the most out of them.

17-85 it is a better lens then the 18-135, and if you plan on getting the 70-300, it makes a good setup.

Hi the 18-55 is better than the 18-135. The kit 18-55 is a good lens but the 17-85 is better what is the cost difference. I would go 17-85 plus the 70 -300. Good luck

Where their ranges overlap, the 18-55 is better than the 17-85, and it costs a lot less.

All things considered, you might be better off with the 15-85, and maybe settling for the T1i instead.
