Default Tamron SP 70-300mm Di VC USD test shots

Here's a test shot, including a 100% crop, of the Tamron SP 70-300mm Di VC USD on a T2i. Is this lens good enough?

Looks great but the crop is a tiny bit soft...

Hand held...? Any PP...?

This was taken at 300mm, hand held. Iso 200, 1/100s IIRC. I adjusted the sharpness/contrast it since I shot in RAW.
