Default anyone use or know about Tokina 11mm-16mm f/2.8

I am looking to get a good lense for everday general use. Someone said to look at the Tokina.

I just typed up a large post recommending it as a wonderful ultra-wide, but I don't know about an every day (it's very, very wide), but I accidentally backed out of the window before I finished it, so this is the abridged (text) version. I'm positive some of the regulars will chime in, and one of them may link you to a post they did exclusively using this lens. And while they're much more amateurish than what you'll find from many photographers here, I'll attach a few of my shots using the 11-16mm in Ireland (T2i).

If you'd prefer I edit this to just links instead of embedded, just let me know.

All of the Tokina AT-X glass are well made and tack sharp. This one has a nice range and at 2.8 is fast.

I have the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8: it very sharp and wide, wonderful for landscapes and group shots, but tricky in closer ranges.
