Default Old lenses for new Canon?

My neighbor has a Canon F-1 SLR w/several lenses: 55mm; 135mm; and a 35mm.

I'm welcome to use the lenses on my T1i if I can figure out how to mount them on my camera. Are there any adapter rings that'll do the trick?

Thnx.

unfortunately that is no easy task. FD lenses use a shorter flang distance than EOS lenses. that means in order for them to focus to infinity, an adapter with some kind of optics is needed. even if you were to do so, its difficult to manual focus on a dslr without a split screen viewfinder or without a good live view with magnification, as well as using stop down metering, etc.

probably not worth it.

Ah, that's a bummer. Beautiful lenses. Don't suppose they're worth much w/the camera, are they? Perhaps a vintage camera photographer might want them? They're just gathering dust right now ... in excellent condition.

Thnx for the info. Appreciate it.
