Default Canon 35-350mm L Lens

Does anyone out there own the Canon 35-350mm L Zoom, or have maybe borrowed one to try it out?

There's someone who has postsed here in the past and bought one recently. He posts under hodad66, and his pbase gallery is http://www.pbase.com/hodad66/

I personally have no experience with that lens.

This was my first lens & I still only have the 85, 1.8 for low light. I came from an Olympus 2100 UZ so 10X was a spoiler. I also wanted to keep the camera "closed" as much as possible to reduce the dust problem. At first it seemed heavy & push-pull seemed odd but now I'm quite comfortable with it. 8)
