Default Best 60d lens? 18-135 or 18-200

Which of these two lenses is the better choice in terms of image quality? The canon 18-135 or the canon 18-200? Both of them appear to be available bundled with the 60d at some online stores. I am curious to get some input From the canon community on this question.

Thank you.

they are both about the same, the 18-135 might have a slight edge in sharpness.

But if you want the best walk around for the 6D the ef 15-85 would be my pick.

you can also consider an older 17-85IS lens - it does get a lot of bad rep (historically ) on the internet, but actually it has less distortions than both 18-135 and 18-200, sharper and has a true ring type USM AF motor and full time manual focus override, also it's about 1/2 price of the newer 15-85IS.

I agree that the 17-85mm lens is a good and well priced choice. It is quick focusing, sharp without having to stop down, and has a useful range, full frame equivalent of 135 mm at the long end. Known faults, specifically barrel distortion at the wide end and chromatic aberration can now be easily corrected with software.
