Default canon 17-55 f2,8 problem

Hello,
I've Canon 17-55mm f2,8 lens (4 months old) on my canon 7d.
2-3months ago there was a problem seen on photo attached
you see that black corners only on wide end around 17-20mm. after 20mm that it disappears. (it was a family photo so please ignore blurry part)
3 times again happened after that time, all same corners. once it was bigger that that once smaller. all happened sunny days after 1-2 hours walkaround, 30-40 shots later.
when I see that, I changed the lens. 20mins later changed again and it was gone.
What do you think is the problem? Any recommendation on how to solve?
I suspect two of the shutter blades get stuck somehow
though I m never sure of it.

Thanks

Without sounding too obvious, my first guess would be your lens hood is on wrong. Maybe changing lenses the hood shifted. It would not be the shutter blades because those are straight, not curved. Maybe aperture blades if it isn't the hood.

Thank you very much for your answers.
Actually I've a cheap lens hood which I rarely use. I didn't pay attention if it was the problem.
now I know what to care about next time if it happens

Today I simulated inapproate lens hood install and those who say it's because of lousy lens hood were right.
when the lens hood isn't in the right place, (longer sides facing left-right) this problem happens.
Thank you very much for your help.
