15-85 IS + 70-300 + IS is a fantastic combo. Two very high quality lenses perfectly matched to the 60D for a great two-lens kit.

If you fancy adding a great low-light prime try the 28 f1.8.

If I were using a crop Canon I would choose those three lenses.

peripatetic- yeah I really debating long and hard on the 15-85. I would have went that route if it werent for the discount, but at 20% off I decided to get the more expensive 24-105. I know on a crop sensor that 24 isnt very wide but its actually slightly wider than anything I have personally owned so to me it feels perfectly wide. And the 14mm will be there when I want wider.

I got the last bit of my order this morning, here is the new combo:

You won't regret buying the 24-105mm L lens. It is a lot better than the other APS-C non-L short zooms. Congratulation on getting your new system!
