looking for a Telephoto zoom lens, pls help me to choose between these two:

1) Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD

2) Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens.

The Canon is better, and is worth the extra money.

I own both the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM and EF 300mm f/4L IS USM. Both are excellent lenses. Canon glass should always outperform aftermarket products. More up front money but a better long term investment.

You are talking L glass which is going to be great. With the more basic glass then Canon doesn't always do great, however, out of these two options the Canon is a better piece of kit.

If budget is a concern then also look at the 55-250 Canon..... avoid the 75-300 Canon as that is a pile of something nasty
