Moon with Quantaray 70-300mm F4-5.6:-



Moon with same lens and 2x quantaray teleconverter.



The teleconverter makes it much darker and you lose a lot of sharpness. Of course, I may not of had it fully focused.

Just shot the moon,again.Its half at the moment.

Ordered the teleconverter on the way from HongKong now.

Hope to get it soon,

This was handheld with the sigma 70-300 at 300mm F8 1/60s ISO100.

Still no 2x converter.Damn holidays.Hope i'll get it 2moro although i've missed the full moon,have to wait another 4 weeks.Anyway heres a shot from the other day (25th).

I belive it looks great

Waiting for oppinions.

Looks nice, IMHO the moon is best shot when it is not full. Much better definition at the terminator then.

I've been waiting now for almost 4 weeks for a EF t-mount adapter from Celestron. So I can try shooting through my telescopes with the 20D.

Like PeterP, I think theg moon is best shot at 3/4's... better shadows and detail in my opinion.

well this one i've made over 100 shots of.This was the best one.1/250 at F11
