I just picked up a lens that works great but the hole for the lock pin on the metal lens ringseems slightly shallow or stripped and the lens doesn't lock completely when attached. The lock pin doesn't seem to sit properly in the hole, or completely. Has anyone had this problem? Is there a possible quick fix?

It looks like the metal part can simply be unscrewed and replacedwith the right tiny tool. I even have an extension tube that I would sacrifice to get the little ring. However, I tried unscrewing these little things and they are not easy to loosen. Canon techs probably have some automatic screwdriver that blasts them in tight.

Here's a shot of the pinhole:

Any suggestions or comment would be appreciated.
