just bought a eos rebel and need what i call a close up lens and a 200 to 300 mm zoom.nothing fancy,just dont know alot about lenses and dont want to buy alot of differant ones just to collect dust.the ef 28-135-5.6 usm is seems to be highly reccommended and so does the ef 75 -300 4-5.6.anyway,just wanted some opinions and guidence.thanks

I am new to DSLR and have had the 300D for about 3months now.I seem to be very happy with the Sigma APO 70-300 Super Micro MK2 lens.Its dirt cheap and no so bad.

Its F4.5-F5.6.Check it out at sigmas website i've found it in the usa as low as 200USD.Thats cheap!If u want me i can send u some pics
