Hi shawnee3,

I have the Sigma 28-200mm Hyperzoom (72mm filter). I love the lens although mine is now a Sigma getting rechipped. Mine is the older version. The newer one has Zoom lock and a 62mm filter size.

It is good a macro and is good thru the whole range. But be prepared this is a short lens and takes a little getting used to.

All in all you won't be dis appointed with it . It is a good all around lens.

I was bored one day and took this pic with mine. This was HandHeld and I was not too steady when I took it. It was the first day I had the lens. I think it was at 200mm.

Thanks for the reply. If i get the current version is it compatible with the digital rebel? I especially like the macro feature.

BTW, nice shot

Hi swanee3,

Yes the newest version should be compatible. It would be the one with the 62mm front lens. I can hardly wait to get mine back. I am down to one lens. Waiting on the Sigma to come back and two others.
