Just wondering if anyone has got this lense.
Its priced around the same as its equivilant 16-35 L but is the picture quality as good as L glass?
I'm looking at it to go in my new water housing where i want to be able to achive a wide angle effect on my 20D.
Any help would be appreciated.

In term of sharpness and contrast the EF-S 10-22 is way better than the EF 16-35mm L

EF 16-35mm f2.8L USM MTF's:

against

EF-S 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 USM MTF's:

-> The reason it's not an L is it's not as well constructed or weather sealed plus the image circle of the EF-S only goes to 13mm (hence more compact/lighter)
