I'm looking to get 3 new lenses. The best deal seems to be from Broadway Photo and Video in N.Y. Buying the international lenses comes out better than the U.S.A. lenses with rebate. Any advice?

be careful of international lenses, if it breaks, canonusa will not repair them.. also be careful of some of those online dealers in NY area that sell them...

if you want an honest low price, check out the US version at B&H (bhphotovideo.com).. if its much lower than that, prolly not legit..

actually, i would suggest just shopping at b&h and forgetting the rest, they have excellent customer service and i know that i am getting a legit product..

Check www.resellerratings.com. Broadway comes up a little short on the ratings. (0.69 on a scale of 1-10) I have found 17th Street Photo to be excellent in terms of price and service. They have something close to a 10 rating. www.17photo.com

I second 17th Street Photo. I have bought everything for my 20 D there. My Lenses, battery grip, flash, memory cards, everything. Top notch service,on time delivery through Fed Ex. Everything ships the same day you order it. They provide you with an order number and you can track your packages from there website. I have neverrecieved a package in anything less than perfect working condition. And they are useally cheaper than anyone else. Unless you want to take your chances with international.
