I just purchased a used Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 HSM APO lens. Previous owner said that it was about 18 months old. Anyone know whether I would need to get this re-chipped by Sigma to make it work 100% with my 20D? I have not received the lens yet, I just wanted to know ahead of time so I can try it out right away if there's a way to tell that it needs re-chipping. Thanks!

No, you're fine. Enjoy the lens.
