Hi all, this my first post, sorry for my poor english,
I have been having a canon rebel 350D for 4 months and I have:
Tamrom 11-18 3.5-5.6 (good point of view)
Canon 11-55 Kit lens
Canon ef 70-200 f4L (Superb quality, amazing lens)
Soon 2or 3 weeks canon 50 1.8 mark II
My question is, is a good election replace my poor kit lens by Tamron AF 28-75mm f2.8 XR Di Zoom?
In my place, Canary Islands, Spain, at store price is 349€ (420$) I appreciated u opinion on this change. Thanks

i think that would be a good replacement.

actually i think anything around there (like the sigma 24-70 /2.8 ) would be a good replacement over the kit lens. It's obvious you have the wide angles covered so i wouldn't worry about the 28-75 being on the longer end. If it was me, my first choice would be the 28-75 because it's smaller compared to the other competition.

the tamron 28-75is a good choice..

so are these..

sigma 24-70 2.8 (downside is huge 82mm filter)

sigma 18-50 2.8 (digi only but sharp as heck)
