I have got this lens from my friend.
Is there any possibility to make it work with REBEL XT.

if yes How will the performance of the lens then.

Thanks in advance.

EOS cameras require EF (or, in the case of the Rebels and the 20D, EF-S) lenses. FD series lenses won't work. There may be adapters, but even if you find an adapter, the automatic focus won't work.

As Wildman said you can get adapters. They are expensive for what they do if you can find them.

You lose autofocus (the FD never had it).
You also lose automatic aperture control.
Since no data signal can be passed to the lens (even if it could use it) using the adapter.

You end up with a full manual lens, with so-so optics, a lot of lens engineering and optical design has happened since the old FD series was around.
