The vertigo you experienced may be a result of the large number of refrigerator magnets in the photo. As the magnetic flux is condensed by the wide angle image capture, it distorts your perceptual field. :?

Hmmm...good point...I just know it'll probably get worse...my wife will eventually cover the whole refrigerator with magnets. :lol:

Actually your image really goes on to show how good the 12-24 EX is...

Notice all the straight lines from the counter top to the kitchen cabinets (as well as the ceiling lights and refrigerator)? A wide angle of this type will usually distort (i.e. bend/curve) but not this super wide 'rectilinear'
