Hey All.

What is everybody using for Macro photography with their DSLR's? I've got the 300mm Sigma, which has a macro feature, but I've found it pretty useless to get in close for macros.

I know there are those add on lens sets, ie - http://cgi.ebay.com/MACRO-LENS-SET-C...QQcmdZViewItem. Of course these are not pro quality, I was just showing an example. Has anybody had any experience with things like this?

I'd be interested to hear.

They are called diopters and work like a magnifying glass: http://www.shutterfreaks.com/Tips/tomhicksmacros.html

... you may want to look into extension tubes too: http://www.shutterfreaks.com/Tips/ExtensionTube.htm
