I need to increase my working distance. So i'm considering the following 2 180mm lens. Currently using a Canon 100mm F2.8 USM Macro. Won't be considering Sigma 150mm as I need max working distance.

Is Canon 180mm F3.5L USM Macro worth the (lots of)extra $compared to Tamron 180mm F3.5 DI Macro? Comments and suggestions are much appreciated. :-)

Sigma's 180mm wide open sharpness can't seem to match Tamron's. Not sure about Canon 180 coz I got no chance to test yet.:G
