Well, as soon as you start shooting with a memory card, I think you'llhave great results :blah:. Enjoy!

I got the 300 for my 20D with the 1.4x extender and have to say i'm very happy with it. i've gotten great pictures with it (especially with my film elan 7n) and i'm happy i went for the IS vs. the 400 f/5.6L. does the 300D not have a setting to disable shooting without a card? i enabled that the first day i got my 20D to save myself from having that fiasco happening:lol:now that i've had a camo sleeve custom made for it, can't wait to try it out in the wild

congrats on your choice, i'm sure you'll be happy with it! btw, do you have a grip on your 300D? i think it really helps to balance the lens on my 20D:arrow:

Hi there Max_pain - will check to see if there is such a setting. However if I had my bi-focals on I would have seen the notice that comes on the viewer that says "hey dummy wheres the card".

Just ordered a 1.4x. That should really help pull in the little people.
