75-300 f/4-5.6 USM II vs 75-300 f/4-5.6 USM III IS. Again, it looks likequite an improvement.

And just a note about previous (original 6MP picture). This picture was taken at 120mm. Even older 75-300 f/4-5.6 II USM at this focal length gives acceptable results and probably all the way to 200mm.

I am mostly interested at long end for reason of magnification and at 300mm this lens is just not good. This is probably true evern for lenses of better quality (price).
