This just came out. I'm not sure if you can buy one yet...Anyone tested this out yet?It should look as the good old 70-200mm EX without the "macro". Um... I'm not sure how "macro" it is, but I wonder how it compares to canon's 70-200 2.8. I see that Canon has a 1:7.7 magnification and the new Sigma macro has a 1:3.5 magnification. Not really close to a good macro lens (1:1), but might be useful in certain situations.

Until they put the MTF up for this lens, anything else is just a guess...

It looks like they did add and extra element to the lens so it's not just a re-formulation of the lens coating like the DG!
-> I does come with the larger 'handle' mount tripod (kind of overkill for this feather weight!) :-)
