Well, I need to buy a teleconverter, I have been using a 2x Tamron-F teleconverter with my 70-200 f/2.8 but it is just not giving me the results that I need. With so many choices out there which one do you think is going to give me the sharpest photo?

I have the canon 2x and feel it performs well. No experience with any others.

I use a Tamron 1.4x with my 70-200 and get excellent results...Might not be enough reach for you but its perfect for me...Also the focus is still fast and accurate...I have not had any problems with the lens "searching" for focus on distant objects...One more thing, the Tamron is half the cost of the Canon...:-)

Thanks for your comments, I went ahead and ordered the Canon 2x teleconverter. I Can't wait to try it out.
