hello everybody

I am a newbie in photography and I would like to get some coments on this picture. Is it a good one? I captured it with a canon sd 600 (all automatic settings) in a mountain near where I live. I had never seen light from sun in this way so I shooted some photos. What do u think?

Any comments will be greatly appreasciated.

The photo here is reduced in size.

P.s. For the first time I am seriosly thinking into diving in this hobby...

@komet + Transit

Thnx to you all. I am no expert either. I just posted to know what else could have been done with a sd600 on this photo.

I am posting another one of the same location.

This is not what you're going top be used to hearing, but IT SHOULDN'T MATTER if we like the picture or not!

As long as YOU like the picture, that's all you should care about.

Personally I love that picture because I like darkish pics and cool lighting like that.

You should absolutely dive into the hobby because you have an eye for interesting subjects and, it seems, live in a place where you have some nice things to shoot.

If you like it, it's good. The end.

If you post your pictures on www.photosig.com they will give you an (often) critical feedback on your shot and how it could be better.
Good luck and keep on snapping photos!

I would have cropped a bit of the foreground and also lightened that area up a bit.
But a nice piccy.
