Hi guy's first post and great forum.

I just bought a Canon Powershot S2 IS about a month ago. I like taking pics thru the eye piece vs the LCD. But the problem I'm having is the image never comes into focus. Even pushing half way down on the shutter to take a pic does not make it come into focus.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or is it the camera?

BTW, looking thru the LCD screen the image is in focus.

Thanks,

Chris

Not familiar with the S2 but similar cameras often have a diopter adjustment lever so the EVF is usuable by spectacle wearers, see if the S2 has one, and see if you can adjust it back to your eye sight.

There's a small thumbwheel diopter adjustment immediately to the left of the viewfinder that should solve your problem.
