Default Problem with A70?

Hi,
I bought Canon A70 a couple of days ago and I see that the LCD gives a wavy lines when I use it indoors while focusing. However, image on lcd becomes clear once the focusing is done.Did anybody else also see this problem...or should I get my camera replaced?

Thx.

My A70 does this, I have not worried about it since the picture quality has come out fine.

So this is a normal behavior of Canon A70...right? I am olny worried that there shouldn't be any long term defects because of this issue.

Yes.

I have the A70 as well. It does the same thing. All of them do.
Wavy noise-like lines in the LCD preview screen is completely normal operation when focusing at times.

Remember that the LCD preview image is just a sample of the real image. I consider it secondary to the optical viewfinder when finding the centerpoint of my shots. The only real use for the LCD is to find out the shot coverage area and also as a post-shot preview. Other than that don't expect it to do more.

There will be no long term affects. Again, it's normal.
