Dear Canon Camera Owners,

I've just returned from 9 weeks of wildlife photography in Zimbabwe, Africa. I took my new Panasonic FZ10 and I found it far inferior to my previous Canon film SLR. The eyepiece was too tiny to use, any photo with high contrast elements (very light and very dark) is all washed out, the shutter release is too slow to immediately capture action, and the colors when displayed on my computer are not as vivid as they should be.

I think I need to either go back to a Canon film camera or a different SLR. Is there a digital SLR that performs as well as a film SLR and if so which one do you recommend? If not, please let me know the truth so I can go back to film.

Thank you for your kind assistance,

Jude

Dear Kalel33,

This is only the second time I've used this Website to get help. I first went to the Canon and Panasonic sections for help and then I saw a message it was best to use the "What camera should I buy." Sorry if I did it wrong.

People have been really helpful.

Best wishes,

Vancote
