Default Canon A70 LCD Screen

Just got my A70 yesterday and have noticed that on the top of the LCD sceen a transparent white line appears which gradually widens to about 2-3mm the longer the screen is left on. Also there is a vertical black gap on the left of the display like it is not lined up properly. They don't affect the pictures but I'm wondering if there is some problem that may worsen with time. Anyone ever come across this before? Any help appreciated.

Cheers

i've also got an A70, i've owned it for about 2-3 weeks now, and i haven't noticed any white line on the LCD on my camara... although I could very well be mistaken you might want to have your camera checked out while its still new and under warranty!

IMO this is a great cameara... good pictures too enjoy!

I think I'll return it for a replacement. Although there are no problems with the pictures, it may be a sign of the lcd failing.
If it is I don't think much of their quality control.

Cheers
