Default A-60 Battery consumption?

Hi all.

I'm strogly considering to get me an Canon A-60. Does anyone who owns one of these have an oppinion on the battery consumption. In other words, how many sets of re-chargerble batteries do i need to get.

I have 2 sets of 2000 ma Powerex batteries to go with my Maha 401 charger. I have never actually noticed how long they last , strange as that may sound - I have the A70

With my A60 I have 2 sets of Energizer 1850mAh batteries.

So far the longest I have gone with 1 set is 4hrs of using the LCD screen and turning it on and off and on and off :P

Now usually when I get back or before I go out, I have a habit of charging them just to be sure (yea im sure i'm killing the battery life but eh)

So... so far I've only had to use 1 set of batteries. Perhaps one day I'll play with the camera all day long to see how long the batteries do last for.

Ok. Thanks for the answers. Exactly what I was looking for. Now I deffenitly will go for the A-60. Gimli: Do you think that you could attatch/send by e-mail/upload on your homepage, a picture in maximum size. You have a lot of great landscape pics on your site, and I would think that it could be intressting to look at a "full" picture.

Thanks in advance,
Henrik

Actually I will do that tomorrow for you. I'll then post the direct link to it here, and you can view it

I'll take it down after a week since I wouldnt want to eat up the 60GB bandwidth I have for the site (the site is for something completely different hehe)

Thanks Gimli.

Nice pic. Impressive what that camera seems to be able to do.

Thanks again!
