I found this set (lens adapter, lens cover, lens hood, a UV filter, cir.pol filter and soft diffuser filter and a tripod) ONLY for $35. it's from a company called Fotodiox. I found it on Ebay, anyone has any experience with it. is it a good deal ?

thank you very much

No personal experience, but from what I have read in the past these sets on ebay aren't any good. Just remember, you get what you pay for. I would stick with purchasing items from lensmate myself.

I've got a couple of stepping rings and two MC UV slim filters (52mm and 72mm) and I've had no problems at all. The filters do not affect the image in any way and the 72mm worked real well on my Raynox WA converter and now I have it on my Tamron 28-20mm. Their service is excellent also.

Tullio: did you get the fotodiox filters, and step up rings or were they a different brand ?

Thanks

They were all Fotodiox. I bought them on eBay but you can also check their website. The filters are MC and the step rings are metal and very slim, which helps eliminate vignetting when used to attach converters to P&S fixed lens cameras.
