I'm really considering this camera too but I know they were having some quality issue earlier on. Does anyone know if they've resolved them??

Oh and by the way, nice pics shaunh. Were they all taken with an A70?

rgds,
Mark

YES im filled with pleased'ness too Never used a digital camera before and im glad I chose the A70 with the help of all you guys on this forum, Thank you all !!! :P

This camera is a great camera and you can get some really nice pictures and you can tweak the manual controls to your hearts content to get the desired effect. I have taken some dreadful shots with this camera but its all down to user error  so thats all I can say is that your pictures are only as good as the photographer.

P.S mkoso, shaunh's pic were taken with an A70 - it says under his pics :P

Actually, I found out that the majority of them were taken with the A70 but some were taken with an A60. See what happens when you don't pull the page down!

shaunh,

Have you had any problems with either of your Canon's?
I know a lot of people have had difficulties with the lenses freezing up and, E19 error messages.
