Hi!
I want to know if it's possible to use a larger card than 2G (ex. 4G) on Canon S3. In their specs, Canon recommends up to 2G. Thanks for your time.

SDHC Cards should work in the S3IS:

 Have a look into this over in dpreviews forum 'Canon Talk'

Search for "S3 AND SHDC", you'll get testimonials by the tons about the workability of SDHC in the S3IS - even *no matter how old it is* - because it's also reported that there was never a firmware update on the S3.

One footnote though, the SDHC does work in the S3 IS, however, use a good card like the SanDisk Ultra series. I have tried QMemory cards, because they are far less expensive, but in movie mode, they don't cut the mustard.
