I am the new owner of a Canon S3 IS. Also w/ it i got aHoya UV filter and Linear Polarizer. I am pretty new to photography so for the most part i have just ben taking tons and tons of photos, mostly outdoors, while messing w/ different settings and trying to learn how changing all the different things can change a picture. I have been trying my best to stay out of Auto to force myself to learn things. Today went and shot the photos below, i changed a lot of different settings and really don't know what did what. A few of them may have been shot w/ a wide angle converter. the problem i am having so far is that not knowing what does what, i haven't been too happy w/ my results do to the fact that most of what i change is just a crapshoot. What does it look like could be done differently w/ these shots to get better results? Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge
