Lost my SD 700IS, and am in the market for a new camera. Looking at these three cameras, SD 850IS, or SD 950IS, or TZ3. I will have to buy a new camera preaty soon. I need help sorting out which will give me better image quality, and more options. Let me know the reason for your opinions.

Thanks

Hi-

I'm also looking for a new camera, but am leanind to the sd800 is......has IS and the 28 lens. Don't think the 850 has the 28mm lens. Just adding to the confusion!

Canon just announced the SD870 IS which has the 28mm wide angle lens. Might be just the camera for you, I'm looking at it too...

At Amazon.com it say it will be released on October 15th:

Stuart-

You might also want to take a look at the soon to be released Canon SX-100 which will offer an optical viewfinder, IS, 10X optical zoom and compete in the same point and shoot market segment as the Panasonic TZ-3.

Stuart-

I apologize, but I made an error reading the specs. The SX-100 does not have an optical view finder.
