i've had this camera for like 2 weeks now. like it alot, but i don't know what i've done to get the camera to take 2 pictures i press the shutter button. does a setting need to be changed for only 1 pic to be taken? anyone here have this or the same problem?

:?:?:P

fyi, i am using htis as my backup camera, as my main rig is the digital rebel. (i did stick to canon ftw, as you haven't noticed).

Just press the drive mode button (the button right behind your shutter button). It toggles the camera between single shot, continuous or self timer mode. In continuous mode, it will continue to take photos until you release the shutter button. It's almost in the same place as the drive mode button on your Rebel (which performs the same function with it).
