I have a Canon S5 IS & just ordered a Sony VCL-DH1758 & will also have to order a Lensmate Adapter to connect the 2, my question is will a Polarizer fit between the 2?? As the Sony does not have a front thread.

It will, though of the two I tried (with my Sony H1)my slimline polariser did not have enough front thread depth to provide a good firm fit, so I had to use an older full size PL that had more depth to the threads.

You should note however that some people have commented on how they broke the polariser when the weight of the tcon bent or pulled of the front of the PL.

If you have a mounting bracket I suppose you could bodge together something to support the weight of the tcon and help protect the PL.
